Military Releases Names Of Victims In Black Hawk Helicopter Crash

The Army said the victims were Chief Warrant Officer Bruce D.Boggs, 37, of Conover; 1st Lt. Candace L. Voegele-Daniels, 24, ofArkansas City, Kan., and Spc. Christopher K. Bingaman, 22, ofFrackville, Pa.

Boggs, company safety officer, and Bingaman, a UH-60 crew chief,were assigned to Co. A, 1st Battalion, 159th Aviation Regiment.Voegele, company executive officer, was assigned to Headquartersand Headquarters Co. in the battalion.

A memorial service is being planned for the aviators and detailswill be announced later, according to a statement from the 18thAirborne Corps at Fort Bragg.

The UH-60 Black Hawk was reported missing Monday night during atraining flight near Florence, S.C. The wreckage of the helicopterwas located Tuesday evening at the Great Pee Dee River bridge overInterstate 95 between Florence and Dillon, S.C.
