N.C. Child Care Commission Votes On Smoking Ban

RALEIGH, N.C. — The North Carolina Child Care Commission voted Wednesday to ban smoking in vehicles with children inside.

The commission also passed a ban on smoking in home child-care settings.

The changes go to the State Rules Review Commision. If they approve it, the earliest the law could take effect is May 1.
