FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Fayetteville woman whose young son died after being left in a car on a 90-degree day appeared in court Monday.
Natasha Edwards-Pratt appeared in court for the first time for involuntary manslaughter and felony child abuse.
Edwards-Pratt was charged Friday in the death of 2-year-old Kenneth Pratt. The boy died Wednesday and his two siblings still struggle for life at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center.
Four-month-old Nataliya Pratt is still in critical condition and 1-year-old Jaquon Pratt has improved to serious condition.
Police say the children were left in a car at the home, but they do not know for how long. The high temperature in Fayetteville on Wednesday was 95 degrees.
