RALEIGH, N.C. — The food court located inside the D.H. Hill Library on the campus of North Carolina State University is closed following an early morning fire.
Crews said the fire broke out at The Atrium around 4 a.m. Tuesday. Officials said several students who were in the library escaped without incident.
Firefighters said it appeared the fire started at a smoothie shop and that a light ballast or a refrigeration unit likely sparked the fire.
