Durham Police Arrest 2 In Connection With January Homicide

DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police investigators arrested two men Monday night on armed-robbery and murder charges in connection with the Jan. 25 shooting death of a convenience store employee.

Preston Allen Crisp, 23, of 214 Orange St. in Oxford, and Christopher Alex McGee, 16, of 910 Morehead Ave. in Durham, are charged with murder, assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill inflicting serious injury, and armed robbery.

Both were placed in Durham County Jail without bond.

The suspects are accused of murdering 35-year-old Monder Sudqi Mohammad and wounding his brother, Maan Sudqi Mohammad,

during an armed robbery at Morehead Mini Mart,

1601 Morehead Ave.

Investigators with the Durham Police Department's Homicide Unit and Oxford police officers arrested Crisp in Oxford late Monday afternoon. Durham police investigators arrested McGee in Durham Monday night.
