Suspect In Selma Convenience Store Shooting Still On Loose

SELMA, N.C. — Police in Selma are investigating an armed robbery and shooting at the M&N Citgo convenience store early Tuesday morning.

Detectives said a man entered the store, located on U.S. 70Business just off Interstate 95, between 1 a.m. and 1:30 a.m. The man demanded money, shot the clerk and took off.

The clerk, Tony Singh, was taken to Johnston Memorial Hospital where he was treated for a slight wound to his head where the bullet grazed it.

There have been no arrests, but police said they are following leads.
