DUNN, N.C. — A Dunn woman is charged with 12 counts of obtaining property by false pretenses.
Helen Finch, 50, is being held in the Harnett County Jail under an $8,000 secured bond.
Police said Finch collected money on behalf of Mount Zion Baptist Church, but kept it for herself.
The church caught fire on Oct. 4.
Finch was arrested after police said she approached some members of the church.
Finch returned some of the money to police, but they are not sure how much she collected.
