ZEBULON, N.C. — A Zebulon attorney who investigators say took a client's money and hit the road is officially a wanted man.
An arrest warrant has been issued for Jonathan Koffa. He is wanted by the federal government for allegedly taking $200,000 from three foreclosures he was supposed to be holding in trust for the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
Koffa has also been charged with felony worthless check. Police say the former Zebulon town manager wrote a bad check for $72,727 to a manufactured home dealer.
Koffa was last seen in December prior to taking a trip to Africa.
