Durham Students Get Taste Of Pink Milk

DURHAM, N.C. — The milk is turning pink in Durham, but it is a good thing.

Durham Bulls mascot Wool E-Bull was on hand for a special strawberry milk breakfast at Eno Valley Elementary School. The idea is to convince kids to go dairy.

Heart Health Month

Kids also participated in a 1 percent lowfat milk coloring sheet contest and a "Design your ownlowfat milk carton" contest.

The activities the children participated in and the educationalmaterials they received all were to encourage them to chooselowfat milk over soda and othersugar-sweetened beverages.
