Kings, Mountain, NC — Five people have been charged in the shooting death of a mentally disabled man who was leaving a concert.
One is a 14-year-old boy who police say actually pulled the trigger. Another suspect is 15.
Police say Justin Braswell was killed over less than 20 dollars. Braswell was shot once in the back not far from his grandmother's house Saturday night after a community concert.
Police said they recovered a .22-caliber handgun used in the shooting.
The adult suspects are all from Kings Mountain. Timothy Aquilla McDowell, Brian Hemphill and David Allen Glover are charged with first-degree murder, armed robbery and attempted armed robbery. They are being held without bond in the Cleveland County Detention Center.
The juveniles have also been arrested and face the same charges
