RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary man is charged with spraying graffiti on state government buildings in Raleigh.
The graffiti included the phrase "bin Laden Rules" and obscenities about President Bush.
Authorities say 46-year-old Gregory Roy Gaskins was charged Friday with one count of injury to real property. He was also charged with trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia and damage to real property.
The graffiti was discovered early Thursday morning on at least five government buildings, including the Archdale and Dobbs buildings and the Legislative Office Building. The Archdale building houses the state Office of Homeland Security.
A detention officer at the Wake County jail said Gaskins was released Friday night on $1,000 secured bond.
