Cary Man Charged With Spraying Graffiti On State Building

RALEIGH, N.C. — A Cary man is charged with spraying graffiti onstate government buildings in Raleigh.

The graffiti included the phrase "bin Laden Rules" andobscenities about President Bush.

Authorities say 46-year-old Gregory Roy Gaskins was chargedFriday with one count of injury to real property. He was alsocharged with trespassing, possession of drug paraphernalia anddamage to real property.

The graffiti was discovered early Thursday morning on at leastfive government buildings, including the Archdale and Dobbsbuildings and the Legislative Office Building. The Archdalebuilding houses the state Office of Homeland Security.

A detention officer at the Wake County jail said Gaskins wasreleased Friday night on $1,000 secured bond.
