CHARLOTTESVILLE, VA. — Transfusion & Transplantation Technologies, or 3Ti, won the early-stage company Shootout at the recent
Southeast BIO
Investor Forum in Atlanta.
3Ti is a spin-out of Emory University. It is commercializing automated multi-analyzers and other instrumentation that can be used by blood banks and blood centers.
The Shootout featured four companies making investment pitches to a panel of venture capitalists.
More than 430 people attended the conference, including an estimated 100 investors.
The 2007 Southeast BIO Forum will be Nov. 6-8 at the Pinehurst Resort in Pinehurst, N.C.
