DURHAM, N.C. — Durham police are investigating a fatal shooting at Ace Radiator and Muffler at 910 Geer Street.
Police said a gunman went inside the business and shot the owner of the business in the neck.
According to police, a man wearing dark clothing armed with a weapon entered the business around 4 p.m. Friday.
The suspect approached the owner, mumbled something about a robbery, and shot the owner in the base of the neck.
The victim was taken to Duke, where he died a short time later.
The suspect still is at large. It is not known if robbery was the motive.
