DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham man was arrested late Monday in connection with a series of peeping Tom incidents, police said.
James Carnell Wilkerson, 22, of Formosa Avenue, is charged with three counts of first-degree burglary, four counts of attempted first-degree burglary, two counts of indecent liberties with a minor and two counts of indecent exposure.
The charges involve incidents in the Bainbridge, Tarleton West, Avon Lake Drive, Balfour West and Yorkfield Court neighborhoods during the past two months, police said.
There were at least six incidents in which a man exposed himself to a woman at night, police said. In one case, a man entered a woman's home through an unlocked door, and in other cases, a man tapped on a window to get a woman's attention, police said.
