HENDERSON, N.C. — Authorities said vandals caused some damage at the Henderson-Oxford Airport.
The Granville County Sheriff's Office said vandals recently ripped more than a dozen lights from the landing strip, then threw them at parked cars. Authorities said several windows were broken.
Deputies are still looking for the vandals.
Airport officials said they cannot reopen until the lights are fixed.
