GOLDSBORO, N.C. — Benjamin Gofford, Jr., a teacher in the Wayne County School System, resigned his position at Grantham School on Thursday after his arrest on marijuana possession.
According to police, officers found marijuana on Gofford during a traffic stop.
Gofford has been released from jail on bond.
