Breaking News: The Wake County Board of Education released the names of three finalists in their search for a new superintendent Tuesday. The candidates will visit the school system next week to visit schools, meet staff and undergo a final round of interviews.
Just In: A 15-year-old boy charged in the Jan. 5 shooting deaths of a couple in their Wake County home can be tried as an adult, a District Court judge ruled Tuesday. Search warrants in the case indicate the couple, Jose and Maria Mendoza, were unintended targets in a gang war between two rival gangs. The boy is one of two people charged in the case.

Knightdale Men Charged With Armed Robberies

WAKE COUNTY, N.C. — Investigators with the Wake County Sheriff's Office have arrested two Knightdale man in connection with two armed robberies.

John Manning, 22, and Matthew Manning, 26, are charged with robbing two Wake County stores between Dec. 23 and Jan. 12.

Wendell police and Raleigh police have also issued warrants for their arrest on similar charges.

John Manning is in the Wake County Jail under $175,000 bond. Matthew Manning is being held in the Wake County Jail under $300,000 bond.
