CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — It looks like its the end of the road for red-light cameras in Chapel Hill.
The town council voted 5 - 4 late Wednesday to terminate an agreement with the company providing the cameras.
The council plans to compile data about unsafe intersections based on the number of accidents and will look at other ways to make those intersections safer.
