FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — Several local hospitals have put out a call for volunteers with four-wheel drive vehicles.
Cape Fear Valley Medical System needs volunteers to help transport patients and key employees to and from the health system's treatment facilities, such as Cape Fear Valley Medical Center and The Cancer Center. Volunteers should call the emergency transportation center at (910) 609-1609.
Wayne Memorial Hospital in Goldsboro also needs volunteers with four-wheel drive vehicles to transport essential personnel to and from the hospital. Volunteers should call (919) 731-6144.
Betsey Johnson Memorial Hospital in Dunn also needs volunteers to transport employees to and from work. Anyone who can help should call (910) 892-7161.
