CHAPEL HILL, N.C. — Students at a number of area colleges and universities have Monday off thanks to Sunday's winter storm.
The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, Duke University and North Carolina State University are closed Monday. Classes will not be held for students, and campus offices will be closed.
North Carolina Central University, Campbell University, Peace College, Shaw University, St. Augustine's College, Fayetteville State and Methodist College also canceled classes Monday.
Meredith College has canceled its day classes. A decision on evening classes have not been decided.
