RALEIGH, N.C. — A local bakery said the growing popularity of low-carb diets is forcing it to close up shop.
Big Sky Bread Company in Cameron Village is closing down on Saturday.
The company said fewer people are buying its product because many diets frown on bread consumption.
Big Sky officials also said consumers are reluctant to pay $3 for a loaf of bread during a struggling economy.
