New Owner Of Henderson Mill Unsure Of Plans

HENDERSON, N.C. — The new owner of some of Henderson's vacant textile mills admits he has a challenge.

The Harriett and Henderson Yarns plants are empty.

The new owner bought the mill -- roughly 1.3 million square feet of manufacturing and warehouse space -- at a bankruptcy proceeding.

The properties could eventually be transformed into condos, but has no immediate plans.

For now, the owner says he has no immediate plans.
