RALEIGH, N.C. — A Raleigh woman is charged with fraud for allegedly taking more than $32,000 in housing subsidies she was not supposed to get.
According to the arrest warrant, 47-year-old Diane Murray misrepresented her income to the Raleigh Housing Authority. She was paid $678 a month for four years.
Subsidies are based on a person's income level.
Murray was released from jail Monday on a $10,000 bond.
