911 Service Restored In Moore County

MOORE COUNTY, N.C. — Moore County residents in the Pine Bluff (281) exchange can now dial 911 without problems.

Early Thursday morning, the Moore County Emergency 911 Center was unable to receive 911 calls.

Officials said a problem with the phone system's switches were part of the problem.

Technicians are still investigating what happened.
