RALEIGH, N.C. — A man police said used instant messaging to arrange a date with an underage girl is in jail.
Officers said 47-year-old Mitchell Watson contacted a teenage girl over the Internet and arranged to meet her at the Triangle Town Center Friday night. When he arrived, officers placed him under arrest.
Watson came to Raleigh from South Carolina. He is still being held on $10,000 bond.
