New School Superintendent Ready To Meet Challenges In Johnston County

— The new superintendent in the state's fastest growing school system said there is a lot of work to do.

Dr. Anthony Parker said the

Johnston County School System's

biggest challenge is keeping up with growth.

The county is considering a plan that would build several new schools by 2008.

Parker said the county needs to be very competitive in recruiting more teachers.
