BROADWAY, N.C. — There have been reports of a possible plane crash in Broadway, near 3100 Buckhorn Road and the channel 40 TV Tower.
A plane traveling in the air reported seeing another plane in a sharp descent. Raleigh-Durham International Airport traffic control was contacted, and local authorities headed to the scene.
The same plane that reported the descending plane later reported the sight of smoke coming from the ground.
