Police Arrest Suspect In Multiple Triangle-Area Robberies

RALEIGH, N.C. — Raleigh Police Department detectives arrested Albert Hilton Tuck Jr., of 438 J.P. Taylor Rd., Henderson, in connection with a string of North Raleigh crimes.

Tuck faces charges in connection with six robberies: Suzio's Boutique Nov. 26, Kookaburra Kids Dec. 1, Gingerbread House Florist Dec. 2, Triangle Nutrition Dec. 5, Shop 20-12 Dec. 9, andRaleigh Cat Clinic Dec. 16.

In addition, the Oxford Police Department has charged Tuck with the robbery of Sally Beauty Supply in Oxford Dec. 14, and Granville County officials have charged him with the Dec. 15, 1998, robbery of Community National Bank.

Tuck also is a suspect in two Durham robberies: GNC Dec. 4, and Sew and Vac Dec. 12.

The recent robberies involved small business establishments operated by female clerks.
