Vote Delayed On Proposed Warren County Hunting Ordinance

Posted Updated

WARREN COUNTY, N.C. — People in Warren County will have to wait for a vote on a new hunting ordinance.

A county commissioner softened her proposed limit of firing a gun near buildings from 3,000 feet to 500 feet. The change is delaying a vote.

The proposal was made after a hunter's bullet went through a home day care, narrowly missing children. Fortunately, no one was hurt.
