New DA To Handle Case Of Former State Trooper Accused Of Trying To Kill Wife

Posted Updated

RALEIGH, N.C. — A new district attorney will now handle the case of a former state trooper charged with trying to murder his wife.

Bobby Regan is accused of shooting his estranged wife, Danielle Regan, in their home in July. Another woman, Linda Lee, was also indicted on a murder conspiracy charge.

Because of a possible conflict of interest, Person County investigators gave Regan's case to a different district attorney.
