Marshals Arrest Suspect In Shooting Outside Raleigh Movie Complex

RALEIGH, N.C. — United States marshals made an arrest Sunday in connection with Saturday night's fatal shooting outside the Blue Ridge Cinemas in Raleigh.

Nathaniel Reed Mabrey, 25, was arrested without incident in South Hill, Va., at approximately 7:30 a.m. Sunday. The arrest was made by the U.S. Marshals Service's Fugitive Task Force, with post-arrest assistance provided by the Mecklenburg County, Va., Sheriff's Department.

Mabrey was charged with murder in connection with Saturday's shooting death of 36-year-old Charlie E. Greene Jr. around 8:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Blue Ridge Cinemas at 600 Blue Ridge Road.

The case was investigated by the Raleigh Police Department's Major Crimes Task Force.
