CLINTON, N.C. — Authorities are investigating a deadly shooting that happened around 7 a.m. Wednesday at the Brooks Brothers plant in Clinton.
According to police, a woman was shot to death in the parking lot. A man has been arrested.
The victim and the suspect reportedly both worked at the plant.
Police said the suspect called 911 to check on the victim's condition after the shooting, and officers talked him into turning himself in.
