Cumberland County Health Building, School Affected By Mold

Posted Updated

FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. — The Cumberland County Health building has mold. Officials said the gray mold is not toxic, but they plan to repair or replace the cooling and heating systems where mold is growing.

Stedman Elementary will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday for mold testing. Officials expect the tests to take several weeks.

Starting Monday, second- and third-graders will attend classes at Stedman Primary School. Fourth- and fifth-graders will have classes at Mac Williams Middle School.
