FORT BRAGG, N.C. — A boy and girl are going to live with their biological father now that their little brother has died.
Last week, 4-year-old Lance Totland passed away at Womack Army Medical Center. According to police, he suffered severe injuries to his eye, foot, and groin.
Jessica and Joshua Noriega, Totland's mother and stepfather, are charged with first-degree murder in the case. Ever since the arrests, Totland's siblings have been with Social Services.
Now, their biological father has won custody of the two children and plans to move them to his home in Minnesota Friday.
