DURHAM, N.C. — Progress is taking shape at the old South Square Mall site.
Construction crews have put up the walls for the new Target, which will be Durham's first. The discount store is slated to open next spring.
Eventually, 14 businesses will sit on the 52-acre site, including a Sam's Club.
South Square Mall shut down last year.
