Alcohol Sales In Barbecue To Go Up For Vote In January

HARNETT COUNTY, N.C. — Some residents in the Harnett County township of Barbecue got their wish -- a vote on alcohol sales.
The township tried several times to get the issue on the ballot and finally succeeded.
The Board of Elections scheduled the vote for Jan. 27.
Barbecue is the only township in Harnett County to get a vote on beer and alcohol sales.
