CARY, N.C. — The newest luxury hotel has just opened in Cary. It is a place where guests should be prepared to be pampered.

Check in at the desk, relax in your room, take in some TV. All the comforts of home are available for pets at the PETsHOTEL.

"Our suites rent for $31 a night. It comes with a hypoallergenic lambskin bed," manager Valerie Marsh said.

There is TV and the phone's down the hall -- the "Bone Booth."

"We will absolutely bring their baby up to the phone so that they can talk to them," Marsh said.

There is also the Kitty Cottage and places to go when pets have to go.

"We've got trees in here. The wallpaper [has] different visual cues that help the dog realize this is the proper place to go,' Marsh said.

It is almost like a regular hotel. Another room rents for $21 a night. "It's still very spacious," Marsh pointed out.

There is room service and recreation.

"Pets play from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.," Marsh said. "It's kind of a Pets Hotel/day-care center. It's just a phenomenal concept. These are their children."

PETsHOTELs opened this month at Cary and Raleigh at PETsMART locations. They hotels stay open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.
