RALEIGH, N.C. — Some Triangle leaders were honored Wednesday for their achievements for the community.
Several people, including N.C. Sen. Wib Gulley, were recognized at the second-annual Goodmon Awards ceremony for working toward bringing the area together as a region.
The awards were established in honor of Jim Goodmon, president and chief executive officer of Capitol Broadcasting. Capitol Broadcasting is WRAL's parent company.
