RALEIGH, N.C. — The
State Bureau of Investigation
just got more help with the backlog of cases. Twenty-one students graduated on Friday.
Two agents will go through additional training to work in the Crime Lab, where thousands of rape kits and other evidence is stacked on shelves.
The SBI does not have the staff to get through the cases, but it is expected to add five more agents early next year.
