LILLINGTON, N.C. — A holiday tradition that lit up the town of Lillington for 17 years is over.

Each year, Jean and Jim Sexton decorated their house with lights, reindeer, wreaths and much more. Their home even became the center of the town's annual holiday celebration.

The family did not decorate last year, after Jim Sexton passed away. Now, his widow said she is selling the decorations in a yard sale at her home on Eighth Street Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Items for sale will include 150,000 Christmas lights stuffed in boxes, sleighs, reindeer, greenery, a large manger scene, wreaths, lighted and woodfigures, rocking horses and other yard decorations.
