Wilson Schools Take Action In Wake Of Cheerleading Accident

WILSON, N.C. — Wilson school leaders are taking steps to prevent another tragedy.
Administrators have ordered cheerleading mats for outdoor games and practices.
On Thursday, 14-year-old Katherine Yount hit her head on a track at Fike High School during practice.
Yount is in a drug-induced coma to prevent brain swelling.
