ZEBULON, N.C. — Authorities on Wednesday identified the body found near Zebulon on Sunday.
Marion Riffle, 34, was found dead at the intersection of Oakley and Shepard School roads, about three miles east of Zebulon, on Sunday afternoon, authorities said.
The body has been sent to the State Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.
Authorities are treating the case as a suspicious death until the autopsy is complete.
