Durham Woman Sentenced in Apartment Fire

A Durham woman will spend six months in jail for setting an apartment complex on fire.

DURHAM, N.C. — A Durham woman will spend six months in jail for setting an apartment complex on fire.

Crystal Craven pleaded guilty Tuesday to arson. In 2004, prosecutors say Craven and Natasha Horton set a fire at Wellington Place apartments.

The fire damaged 15 units. No one was hurt.

The case against Horton is still pending.
