RALEIGH, N.C. — There are new allegations against a Raleigh consulting firm already under fire.
State Attorney General Roy Cooper says Mid-Atlantic Associates tried to get the state to reimburse the company for work it did not pay for.
Mid-Atlantic Associates is one of eight companies accused of rigging bids to clean up leaking underground petroleum tanks.
Cooper said Mid-Atlantic Associates asked the state to cover lab costs at full price without revealing a discount the company received.
