<b>FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.</b> — Fayetteville police are issuing a warning after an attempted abduction.

Authorities say a man tried to abduct an 11-year-old girl on Richwood Avenue near Skibo Road Tuesday afternoon. The girl was able to get away.

The suspect is described as a white man, between 30 and 40 years old. He reportedly has red hair and a goatee.

The suspect was last seen driving a green extended cab pickup truck.
