RALEIGH, N.C. — A Hillsborough police officer was sentenced to 16 months in prison on theft charges.
Timothy Brewer pleaded guilty Monday to two counts of felonious breaking and entering and larceny, three counts of larceny of a firearm and one count of possession of cocaine.
Brewer was also ordered to pay $4,200 in restitution and ordered to participate in a drug- and alcohol-rehabilitation program.
