WILSON, N.C. — A former Wilson teacher was sentenced to jail for taking indecent liberties with students.
Wiley Edwards used to teach at Sallie B. Howard Charter School. He was arrested in December.
Aside from his jail sentence, Edwards can not have contact with children unless other adults are present.
Edwards will also have to register as a sex offender.
