BURLINGTON, N.C. — A breakfast bandit who has hit several Cracker Barrel restaurants in the Triangle and Piedmont has been caught.
The suspect, identified as Victor Grier, was arrested after a store in Burlington put an undercover officer outside Tuesday night.
Police said Grier also hit restaurants in Durham, Henderson and Smithfield.
Officers said Grier had a sneaky M.O. He allegedly would order food, then confront the manager pretending to have a gun. The scheme got him several thousand dollars.
