RALEIGH, N.C. — Funeral arrangements are being made for a girl hit by a truck in Raleigh.
Melica Williams died over the weekend. The 10-year-old was struck by a pickup truck while running across Capital Boulevard last March.
Police say Williams broke free of her mother's hand and darted into traffic.
The truck's driver was not charged in the accident.
