The Johnston County Sheriff's Office issued an arrest warrant for Mary Alice Turner. She failed to appear in court on bad check charges.

Turner faces forgery charges in several counties. One week ago, police cited her for shoplifting at an area Wal-Mart.

After she lost part of her family and her home in the fire, a local man donated a new house for surviving family members to live in.
